It's been 20 years since the release of first Harry Potter movie, and it was the movie that announced the arrival of the Wizarding World in theatres. The Harry Potter series is full of iconic moments, with each movie having its own bunch of epic scenes.

Harry Potter Series, be it book or movies, is considered to be one of the greatest series of all time. Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone was second highest grossing movie of the franchise. It gave many memorable and iconic moments that fans would remember till the last day.
So, without further ado, here are our favorite moments from Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone. Check them out and let us know which scene is your favorite:
THE CHESS MATCH:
Harry Potter and Ron Weasley are seen playing Wizard's Chess (magical variant of chess) during the Christmas Feast as it is meant to be played. But later in the movie we get to witness a very dramatic and exciting chess game. It was one of the first dangers that the iconic trio faced together. The scene also deepens Harry and Ron friendship when Ron sacrificed himself so Harry could checkmate the White King.
MEETING RON & HERMIONE FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Everyone wants to cherish their memory of meeting their best friends for the first time. In same way the memorable moment of Ron, Hermione and Harry meeting for the first time will always make our heart bloom, it will always be memorable and iconic. The Golden trio made it clear from the first interaction that it is going to be something special.
FIRST QUIDDITCH MATCH:
Sports is something which attracts large number of people. So how could people live in the Wizarding world without any sports to play. J.K Rowling gave us Quidditch, an iconic sports to remember. Although Quidditch plays an important role in books but only few glimpses of Quidditch can be seen in the movies.
But in the first movie itself we get to witness an entire match of Quidditch. The match was very fun and intense to watch with Harry being the youngest seeker in a century.
TRIP TO DIAGON ALLEY:
Diagon Alley was a cobblestones wizarding alley and shopping Centre located in London, England behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. Diagon Alley was the go to destination for wizards and witches for magical accessories. The first trip to Diagon Alley completely captures us and transports us to the Wizarding world and it was surely iconic.
WELCOME TO HOGWARTS:
Some scenes in Harry Potter are purely magical that sends us to the Wizarding world. One of them undoubtedly has to be the first look at Hogwarts. The fans of Harry Potter books were overjoyed by seeing the amazing depiction of Hogwarts. Seeing the Hogwarts castle was unquestionably one of the most iconic moments. The scene was followed by Sorting Ceremony which made it even better.
