1. FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST: BROTHERHOOD (2009- 2010)

IMDB- 9.1/10

"In order for something to be obtained, something of equal value must be lost". Alchemy is bound by this Law of Equivalent Exchange- something the young brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric only realize after attempting human transmutation: the forbidden act of alchemy. They pay a terrible price for their transgression- Edward loses his left, Alphonse his physical body. It is only by the desperate sacrifice of Edward's right arm that he is able to affix Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor.

2. ATTACK ON TITANS (2013-2022)

When man eating Titans first appeared 100 years ago, humans found safety behind massive walls that stopped the giants in their tracks. But the Safety they have had for so long is threatened when a colossal Titan smashes through the barriers, causing a flood of the Giants into what had been the human's safe zone. During the carnage that follows, soldier Eren Jaeger sees one of the creature devour his mother, which leads him to vow that he will kill every Titan. He enlists some friends who survived to help him, and that group is humanity's last hope for avoiding extinction at the hands of the monsters.

3. DEATH NOTE (2003- 2006)

Yagami Light, a 17- year old genius from Japan who is tired of his life, school and the state of the world as he knows it. One day, on the way home from class, Light stumbles upon a dark notebook with "Death Note" written on the front. Intrigued by its appearance, Light reads the first few sentences, only to find out that it states anyone whose name is written inside will die. Discarding it as a joke, Light continues his daily activities. Soon after though, his human curiosity takes the better of him and prompts Light to try the notebook, discovering the truth behind the first sentence. Now, with power in his hands, Yagami Light is on a quest to change the world and become the God of the New World.

4. NARUTO: SHIPPUDEN (2007- 2017)

It has been two and a half years since Naruto Uzumaki left Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf Village, for intense training following events which fueled his desire to be stronger. Now Akatsuki. Now elite rogue ninja, is closing in on their grand plan which may threaten the safety of the entire shinobi world. Although Naruto is older and sinister events loom on the horizon, he has changed little in personality though he is now far more confident and possesses an even greater determination to protect his friends and home.

5. HUNTER x HUNTER (2011-2014)

Gon Freecs, a young boy that lives on a small island learns that his father who he doesn't remember is an extremely famous man and has become somewhat of an amazing hunter. Gon takes the hunter exam to seek out his amazing father, but on the way while teaming up with 3 other candidates, he learns that there is more to becoming a hunter and the challenges that he must face will be beyond his imaginations.
